Job Description :
Senior Front-end Developer Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison connecting the Design System and the teams responsible for implementing the consumer-facing front-end features.
Forge close partnerships with both Consumer and broader Design and Brand departments.
Construct and formalize a reusable design system that remains independent of any specific framework.
Develop front-end code and associated tools to empower Consumer feature teams to achieve efficient and rapid deliveries.
Collaborate with Architecture, Engineering, and other vested parties to ensure sound technical choices that drive exceptional user experiences in our products.
Assist in evaluating content delivery methods and propose remedies for enhancing performance.
Compose unit tests and other automated testing mechanisms.
Participate in tribe events, contribute to platform technical strategy, and direction.
Analyze and troubleshoot operational and security-related issues of a technical nature.
Contribute to the establishment of an in-house front-end community and actively engage in both internal and external conferences and meetups.
Skills & Experience
Possess a minimum of 5 years' substantial experience with a comprehensive grasp of the entire web technology stack (including HTTP, cookies, headers, asset handling/caching, and Progressive Web Apps) in conjunction with expertise in React.JS.
Proficient in modern JavaScript and standard development tools (such as Webpack, Babel, ES6, code linting, and Prettier), as well as HTML and CSS pre-processing techniques.
Proven track record and evident comprehension of Web Accessibility, encompassing WCAG 2.0 AA compliance and WAI-ARIA, as well as expertise in Security, Performance optimization, and responsive design.
Proficiency in unit testing tools, particularly Jest, and experience with version control using GIT.
Ability to effectively collaborate within an Agile development team environment.
Familiarity with established DevOps Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Practical experience with test-driven methodologies such as TDD (Test-Driven Development) and BDD (Behavior-Driven Development).
Familiarity with concepts related to Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS environments, and associated services.
